Default Replacement parts - where from?

Morning all

I fitted a tail tidy to my SV last weekend and am very happy with the new look

I've secured it using around 10 self tapping screws and have re-used the two existing screws that fit in to the end of the rear fairing panels (the ones that screw into a metal clip). The only problem is they are pretty rusted and one of them isn't really biting properly. I can screw it in, but it won't tighten up fully, just keeps popping in the clip when I try and tighten it. I'm thinking the thread has just rusted which may be why it isn't biting so am after some nice stainless replacements (possibly a bit longer too). For the life of me though, I can't find any. B&Q are useless, and small local hardware stores don't seem to exist any more
Does anyone have any spares (cheeky I know ) or know where I can get some? Picture attached below so you know which screws I mean.
Thanks

I presume you mean "M5 5MM ZINC SPRING SPIRE CHIMNEY C CLIPS U NUTS", cut and paste into ebay search.

Cheers Mark.

They look very similar but think they may be bolts rather than screws. Don't really need that many either. Would a screw be an M5 also? Cheers.

they are clip/keeper nuts (of M5 size) and bolts (of M5 size) not screws, the spring nut goes over the plastic tad with the hole in it, the bolt hold it all together.

I'm guessing you need one of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M5-5MM-THR...item19d5f0ad1b

and one of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pro-Bolt-D...item5652d942bc

of whatever length you want.

Thanks

I'm guessing the bolts will probably hold better than the screws anyhow. May try and re-use the existing clips as I have a feeling they may be very fiddly to get a hand to to swap over

those are ridiculously dear for stainless bolts

you can get a pack of 50 for a couple of quid, just swap them all to match

Thanks for the help guys. Am going to pop into screwfix on the way home and pick up some M5 bolts and see if they hold in the existing clips. If not, I'll order the pack that rictus suggested off ebay. Will have a lot of spares then
