I am looking to change the expansion tank as the previous owner sprayed it black and I cannot see the coolant level (without taking the tank and seat off!).
I am a newbie to bike maintenance. It looks reasonably straightforward if a bit fiddly to access. Could anyone advise on the best way or any pitfalls? There were some great instructions on bolty.net but the site has been down for days now which is a shame as it seemed good to me. Many thanks. |

Why not use some sort of solvent or alcohol to try and remove a ortion of the paint to see the level?

What bike do you have?
