So I finally got my bike rejetted using Ivan's carb kit and my Arrow exhaust system is fitted. It's made a big difference to the running of the bike. She pulls so much more smoothly and the induction snort from the gutted K&N air filter is adictive
![]() Only issue I've noticed is in fifth gear on full throttle around 8k rpm the bike seems to hesitate then surge a bit (tacho needle goes a bit erratic, I think I even bounced off the rev limiter once). I've also had a new clutch cable fitted, so am wondering if it may be a bit of clutch slip. May have to get that investigated at some point, but will see how it goes for now. Gave her the beans a couple of times on the way to work this morning, and in between huge grins from the induction roar I still noticed she seems to surge a bit sometimes at the top end of the rev range. Have a feeling I may need to go up a size on my mains jets. No rush though as just want to enjoy riding her for a while
