Just been out on the bike for a bit of a bimble. Didn't really enjoy it because the roads are covered in slimy leaves. Whilst I didn't have any near moments, at times I was riding like someone who hadn't ridden before. Not a great cornerer, especially when compared to some around here but really bad today.
Anyone else feel the same? |

I've just got back from a camping weekend by hereford, the wind this morning was horrendous, the ride home had sun blindness, thick mud on the line through tight corners and wind, not the best.
Had a cracking ride around Brecon yesterday, wet but good, had a scary moment at xxx mph coming over a crest and there was a sheep in the middle of the road, luckily shed enough speed off and the thing heard the bike and ran off. |

Same here mate, went for a macdonalds this morning, span the rear twice and nearly lost it on a corner when leaning, felt like there was no grip whatsoever!

Thanks guys, even if you are just being gracious!
![]() SP1: surely a sheep would have been nice and bouncy? Damn windy (gusty) at the end of the ride as well which added to the excitement. |

Went out this morning for a short wheel stretch and found the roads the same around here too. Lots of branches down and strewn across the roads which was also a bit buttock-clenching at times. Was glad to get home and catch up on the MotoGP races off the planner and let someone else do the riding to be honest.

I've not been local this weekend. However up in the flat lands the roads looked good, not much foliage or wet surfaces. A bit blustery but nothing that would cause too much of an issue.
I'll be out on the bike in November to start the Xmas shopping! |

There was a nice dry day mid week and had a cracking little spin. Still have to stay in the well trodden car tracks as the middle is made mostly of leaves and twigs, but fun. However had some slippy moments in the wet and the Tiger front tyre is now past the wear markers ... really not good for this time of year. Will have to try and locate some funds from somewhere.
