Default Where can i get a coded key cut?

Hi,

My R6 only came with one key and i keep panicking incase i lose it! I want to get another one cut and was wondering where the best kinda places are to get motorcycle keys cut that have chips/transponders in them?

Just got a quote from the local key cutting place they want £50 quid because it has the 'new' chip inside it!

http://www.express-keys.co.uk/ they cloned a key for my Pegaso for £35.

£50 sounds gd, i thought some car ones are like £90 nowadays

If you loose the existing one then the bill really goes up. Locksmith cost us £180 for a visit and two new keys when son lost his only vauxhaul key.

He found the original key a fortnight later

Ford chip keys are £45 from the local locksmith so you are in the ball park with £50.

£50 sounds like the going rate, £35 for the key and £15 coding... not bad to me.

or if you have key cover on your insurance - say you lost your key and it's covered

£55 sound good TBH

Honda HISS keys are around £60 just for the blank, and you need to either go to Honda or a specialist independent to encode it

Sounds good then ... this was my local shop so i knew the fella i thought he was trying to have me over but spose i better save my pennies and get a spare. @Nikon .. cant claim on the insurance mate this is for my track bike
