Default Problem fitting R6 race fairings.

Hi,

Well i got my originals off my bike last night with a help from a few friends and ive gone to put the new race ones on and cant seem to find where the front nose cone mounts up to?!?!?!

Also i have to order DZUS fasteners as it has the clips on the back already moulded into the fairing.

Does anyone know a good place to order them from? need about 15.

Any help would be much appreciated as i hate not finishing a job!!

Cheers

Mason

If you have any way of finding who made this set of fairings that'll help your search. Loads of companies make after-market fairings for bikes. Some bolt straight to the existing subframes, so assume you'll use one of their race subframes. Without knowing who made yours you may need to fabricate something.

The DZUS fasteners come in different lengths dependent on how thick the joins in the fairings are etc etc.
Have a guestimate and then order based on that.

You can re-work the original front subframes removing bits / adding ally strips as required. The aftermarket ones are so much easier to work with tho, due to using softer aluminium not steel. Pricey tho!
