Default Knee sliders 1 audi 0

While filtering an Audi driver decides to change lanes without looking and side swipes me, somehow kept it upright (thank god), he opened his passenger window and asked am I ok, well yea I’m still upright so carry on with our merry way, as he was pulling off I noticed a dirty long scrape where my knee slider made contact with his car, BUT as I was coming off the junction I did not see why I should go and say anything to him… My bad ?.
Am I at any fault ?.
Aching shoulder but got a lovely scrape on the knee slider. (Looks like i got my knee down)

Can't see how it's your fault when Mr Audi is the guy not making his observations.

Using mirrors is a lot cheaper than fixing bodywork. Maybe he'll take a lesson from it in which case you've already helped him.

Good on ya tony, I would not have been so pleasant and a small scratch would have been the least if his worries!

Glad you and the bike are ok!

If there's damage however slight it should be reported to a police station within 24 hours, I would go to cover myself, if he reports and you don't you may get some hassle..

Yeah good point, if he is a c@&! You could in theory get done for failing to stop and failing to report.

But then again, did he see your plate?

If someone sets a colour for text and that matches the background you won't. Select the text and you'll see it.

I'm confused, did you see a "dirty long scrape" or not?

Don't make the mistake of letting an opinion on fault interfere with your legal responsibilities.
