well if you find one, then the rest should be in the same directory?
It may simply be that itunes has stopped seeing them |

thats all and well but then i have to put them all back to how they were.
is there not a 'put back to where you found them' button? |

there's not a button to do what you're describing as having happened so i couldn't possibly answer that.
Its relatively easy to return them if theyre still there. If not then next step is to find and undelete them |

they have been taken off the drive and put on the ipod, not copied but taken off the drive. i know where they are but thats not the point.
Apple is going to be getting a very very irate call. it has taken me yeeeaaarrrrsss to copy all my CD's to mp3 and adding proper tags, album art etc.etc i'm not a happy bunny not one bit happy. they have all been renamed as well as copied. Last edited by Bibio; 26-11-13 at 09:06 PM. |

Thats bloody odd.
Look for the save directory for Itunes. It's in the settings menu

Deletion is seldom permanent at least at first. If they've been renamed it sounds like you pressed something along the liens of consolidate files. TBH it's quite hard to think of anything helpful from range. |
