Default 2004 Pointy died on me today

This bike had been stood for 4 months with previous owner starting every now and then.
The idle was really rough and when i rode it throttle response was sluggish.

I drained the tank, removed the fuel pump and cleaned out the strainer (had a little bit of dark grit in it but that's it).
The tank was actually pretty clean inside.
Put fresh fuel in and I then balanced the throttle bodies.
I have done this a few times and it ran smoothly, all hoses, airbox and plugs put back in their place and bike running well afterwards.

Idle sounded great, took it for a spin of about 12 - 15 miles and throttle was crisp and responsive all through the rev range in every gear. Was nice to ride.

Just before I left for work I added 20ml of redex petrol fuel system cleaner to the full tank of fresh fuel and set off.
(Says on the bottle to add the 90ml of redex to a 50 litre tank of unleaded fuel. I put 16 litres of fuel in so thought i'd add 20-30ml of redex.

About 1/2 mile from my house I entered a national speed limit road. Got to around 10,000 rpm in second and changed up to third as I rolled the throttle on in third the rpm jumped from 5k to 9k or so and back to 5k. From then the bike spluttered and died.

When I try to start the bike the fuel pump primes and it starts for a split second then it dies as if it is being starved of air or fuel.

Could there be an issue that wouldn't rear its head for 12-15 miles after the throttle body sync or has the redex had an ill effect on my fuel system?
Has anyone else had a similar issue or know of what the issue could be?

Bike is a 2004 pointy, with an after market end can.

Default Re: 2004 Pointy died on me today

Just had a quick look this morning.
All hoses correctly connected, throttle bodies secured to top end, air box secured to throttle bodies.
Rubber caps are secured onto vacuum take off points.
No FI light or fault codes showing.
No carp in the airbox or hoses.

Possible debris fallen into throttle bodies/engine when syncing?
Possible debris in tank from when fuel pump removed?
If and injector was blocked it should just run on one cylinder, how common is it the both injectors are blocked?
