How on 'The Disc' do you get the water pump of a 2011 Gladius 650?
I've tried undoing all the bolts and releasing the hoses. Do I have to take the side cover off or something... yes,I know I should get a Haynes Manuel but it hasn't arrived yet. I only want to paint the cursed thing. |

yes you have to take the side casing off. the waterpump has a cog on the back that needs to be taken off before you can remove the pump.

Assuming it's all the same as the SV then yes, drop the oil and take the whole clutch cover off.
Depending on luck, you might need a new gasket for the crankcase cover. The water pump has o-rings and I've always re-used those without any problems. I bet it doesn't look so bad now ![]() |
