Which front end ?

Hi all, would like to swap front end but not sure which all kinds will fit to my sv K8 naked ? What year front end to purchase? Going to post picture from ebay that i found,is that exactly what i need? Thanks for any info,advice,link to other discussion topics about this..

Do your homework. Then do it again. There's a ton of info out there on this - and some of it is correct!

Go to the mods forum on SVRider - the two sticky threads there have lots of good info all in one place.

Ultimately, any front end can be made to fit. The more complete a set up you can get, the easier it is. Front wheel axle and disc size/offset will need to match the new forks and calipers. Stem length is important, and head bearings will need changng.

Do you want to change the steering geometry in any particular way? keep as close to standard as possible? keep a functioning steering lock?

As i say, research, research, research.
