Re: MOT and clutch switch
Never bypassed the switch, would seem that it is more than just a safety interlock on modern bikes
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=229604 http://www.svrider.com/forum/showthr...ighlight=stall Would have to be a pretty clued up tester to spot that. I guess as long as both the wheels are present, the tyres are OK, the brakes work + all lights function and the horn, it would pass.

Re: MOT and clutch switch
i know about the clutch switch and never to bypass it. but i would like to get the bike MOT'd for the weekend.
the switch should be here tomorrow afternoon or at the latest saturday and will fit it as soon as i get my hands on it. i personally dont think its part of the MOT. |

Re: MOT and clutch switch
Clutch switch has been bridged on mine for about 10 years now, never had any issue at mot time
