Default ..better removing TREmod on K3 / K4 SVs?

..on Italian SV related web site (www.sv-italia.it forum area) there is actually a THREAD (posted by an expert user..) suggesting to REMOVE TREmod on K3 / K4 SVs, since gear ratio info is also used by SDTV system (double valve) to vary 2nd valve air/petrol mixture richness.
At least this is what they state.
If this is the case, then many people here (included me) should better remove TREmod on their K3 SVs.
...does anyone know something related to this?!?!?!?!

Good thing I've got the G-Pack then.
It's (supposedly) only active in 2nd and 3rd gear.

just on the offchance they notice it and it invalidates the warranty. Not taking the risk for a 50p mod that doesn't really do that much. And with winter coming up, the cold idle speed is much better without the mod.

...so you say what they say it's correct and better removing TRE from K3/K4 SV?
How do you know the ECM really check gear for varying mixture richness?
