Default Fixed Poll - Front Braker or rear Braker

Sorry about last version of this poll .

Poll refers to offs that maybe related to your ability to stop when you had an off.

I am only proposing this casual poll because I was amazed at the discussion provoked by the issue in a previous post. It surprised me how many people use so mostly rear brake (and that is not my own technique) Made me think about why and how I do it.

Just come back from a 100km fang aaround the coast and tried rear brake technique. Just took so long to pull up and I could get any feel from it.

I confirm myself as a FRONT BRAKER - as God and Suzuki intended me to be.

Hope this one works better

2bh, probably most of the reason I use the rear brake at all is because I learned to ride on a GP100 which only had a switch for the brake light on the back brake [which was a virtually useless drum compared to the disk on the front]. People wouldn't have known I was stopping otherwise.

My mate had one wth a drum on the front too which I borrowed one day to go and fetch a new spark plug. That was the ONLY day!

Down as a front braker, and I've gone off as a result of braking from both ends But the rear was very early on the bike, and the front was while riding hard on the track, so THEY DON'T COUNT!

You know you can trail the rear brake going into a corner, very handy for some rear wheel steering action. Just before you tip in if you need to scrub some speed and settle the suspension it works well.
