I have read this article on LB.
http://londonbikers.com/forums/shwme...essageID=39584 Is it possible that Frith is going to be more tightly controlled?

We were approached by the local police about 7.30 and warned that his boss would be down there about 9ish with the traffic wardens. Seems that the residents have decided they have had enough of the noise and stunts.
Bang on 9pm they turned up and turfed everyone out. Have to say, it was inevitable. Personally I think the late brigade are more the reasons than us. But don't matter either way. Does that mean that we can now go find a new home, somewhere civilized like what the Selkent mob do ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It's the same as has happened previously. In a couple of weeks it'll all settle back down to normal.

Almost non-existent I think personally. There are simply too many bikes, it's become a tradition, and providing behaviour doesn't get truly outrageous I'm quite sure we'll be okay for a few years yet.

It will take a couple of weeks before it settles down though. Some of the Londonbikers crowd go up to Soho a few nights of the week.
However, if they do enforce it, maybe we should get some video evidence of the old bill stopping off for coffee ? What's good for one ..... . |

I say ban it - then about 20 or 30 years later the council will back the idea of bringing it back. Sorry I came over all Ace Cafe for a moment!
