Default Maintenance tuition.

Evening all.
I guess a lot of you would like to know more about servicing & maintaining your bikes, but don't have the facilities, tools, or confidence to carry it out yourselves.
So what do you lot think of having your bike serviced while you wait, and being allowed to get 'stuck in' at the same time, under my supervision of course.
I think that some of you may benefit from this as you would learn more about your bikes, & more about maintenance in general. And as a lot of service work is intangible, you would then know that it's been done.
Obviously valve servicing has to be done with the engine cold which really means leaving the bike overnight to cool could be a problem. But interim servicing, headrace bearings, fork seals, chain & sprockets etc wouldn't be.
My labour rate is now £24 per hour + VAT, forum member will get it at £20 + and you still get 10% off the parts.
What do you lot reckon??

Cheers.

And Newbury.

Fantastic offer that you have there. I have always wanted to be able to do this. Luckily I now have some good friends that do exactly that for me.

I do the work and they keep a check on what I am doing. Learning with confidence that you wont mess up, there's nothing better. I'm sure you will soon be inundated with requests.

Yeah. So did a lot of P.A.D.S. ( Army slang for "permanently attached dependents". Can be used in place of "wife of" or to describe either gender)

You could always tell which units were on tour by the different wives out on the **** of a Thursday. Especially in a largeish garrison like Tidworth.
