Default sv problems i need some help please guys all the techys :P

OK problem 1

1) if i take my hands of the handle bars at any speed over say 45mph the bars wobble like crazy :S

2) every now and again once iv been out for a while the bike feels like its being pulled down on the front and you can hear a swishing sound from the front and it looses power, although the revs don't drop at all :S

3)was at the lights clutch all the way in , revving the engine and the bike pulled forwards :S lol

4) just pulling from lights giving it a few revs let the clutch out and it pops very loud from the front cylinder area and then it stalls

5) sometimes the bike stalls but in a different way. you hear the starter motor very loud and it ticks very loud for a second and u can hear something spinning just after the engine goes of.. kind of like the sound you get it your press the start motor very quick and the bike doesn't start up..

hope some 1 can solve my problems lol :P

bike is a sv650s year 2000 with 36thousand miles on the clock

thnx allot

1) Check that the weights on the wheel have not fallen off

2) Are brakes binding?

3) Adjust clutch

4) Your stalled, your fault

5) ??? Possably nothing to worrey about.

Ive had similer but i was moving about 30 and went to change gear and the bike promptly cut out which was weird, cant explain it as it started up imediatly once i hit the starter.

Wheel weights, to ligter bar ends (Cheap light copies) or head bearings need tightening/replacing

Siezed brake caliper(s) Remove calipers from the forks and see if they are really dirty, like around the pistons etc, give them a very good clean(brake cleaner) push pistons back in. MAKE SURE THAT YOU PUMP THE BRAKES ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS AND YOUR FRONT BRAKES WORK BEFORE MOVING! Maybe if very bad, overhaul calipers with new pistons/seals. Do this soon, as if your brakes are binding, it could lead to you coming off!

Adjust clutch as advised. If still no good, then welcome to clutch drag. Im still working through mine. I think mine might be the clutch basket

Mine does this every now and again, which i imagine yours does. I found that not blipping the throttle helps when pulling away, just smooth throttle control.

Possibly a loose connection on the starter motor or you have accidently hit the starter motor. When i turn my bike off, theres always a click/clonk form the starter motor. To be honest, i havent heard a suzuki not do it! Its probably just the solenoid disengaing once the power is turned off.

With all things, if you are not sure what you are doing, especially around the brakes, then please do not attempt to do these yourself, and either get someoen that does, or take it to a mechanic.
