I watched the vid, im dead impressed by all that! They manage to hook up well out the corners, and get respectable lean angles (for riding on spikes!).

Plus they all look like racing gods, bikes snaking about all over the place Hell, even I'd look like i was on the ragged edge of my motorcycle limits!!

Apparently the spikes are kits that are just screwed into used track tyres. DIY jobs.

I think on a properly studded tyre on smooth ice (the ice in that clip looks a bit raggedy) you have more grip than a dry road.

If only my curvy didn't get carb icing so bad, I'd try it!

Roll on the winter, we already had our first snow, but need some serious cold to freeze the lakes up!
