Default project almost finished!!

got some parts back from the welders. bolted the new subframe back on and fitted the rear end. now just electrics, rearsets, rear well and a couple of other parts needed.

Got the makings of being a good looking bike when its finished. Think i saw a post in the for sale section about a guy breaking his curvy so he might have a wheel for sale.
I'm presuming you meant wheel and arent really thinking about having a well on the back of your bike. You'll for every be getting small children out who fell in while looking at your bike you know.

sorry....bad typo. i hve the wheel, just need a tyre so i can wheel it about, rearsets, make a mount for the new digital speedo, get the tank filled and resprayed, then a couple of other parts off fleabay like rear seat, exhaust hanger or rear foot pegs. etc. probably about another week or so left till its back up and runnin

looking good.

I'm not such a huge fan on those headlights but the seat unit looks good and the black frame is cool.

what clocks are you using?

yea i was umming and aring about the lights, but once i got them on they looked good. ive got a vapour digitlal speedo. and also salvaged an instument panel off of an aprilia scooteer which im wiring in at the mo. swingarm is the next part to get powder coated

yea, its off the best looking r1 ever made. 2002-2003. dont know why they didnt keep that shape. sooo many people agree with me that it is the best looking r1.

I like the R1 seat unit on that, it looks very good. If I owned a Nekkid, I'd stick on that R1 seat unit

When its done, post some quality pics, outside in the sunshine or something!
