Can't help you now as I am urgently required on a pub crawl of Shawlands.
Around all day tomorrow though if that's any use, except you'll have to come to me because I'll be in no condition to drive and I've never even touched an angle grinder. But I'm a very good extra pair of hands and the tea will be hot and plenty of it. Just let me know. ![]() |

....... whats a fuel can......why do y0u need a grinder
![]() Hello Fuel is the manufacturers name for an aftermarket exhaust...not a full system but the rear end bit. Need an angle grinder coz it comes as a full system and so u need to chop it off with some power tools and a bit of knowhow. Should sound nice with a V-twin gurgle...But make sure u know what ur doing Ad...very easy to make urself look an eejit. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I knew I was having a blonde moment But I think it was a peroxide one ![]() I used a hacksaw to cut my pipe on the curvy to fit my CCC. |

GUYS, GUYS, GUYS...PLEASE...DO NOT use a grinder.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This fitting of the fuel can is a complete absolute utter piece of ****. I kid you not. Get yourself a proper hacksaw (12 inch) with a NEW hacksaw blade and some tape as a guide. It will cut through the pipe like butter. Dry fit everything, take it a part, put some silicone sealant on the joint. Thighten it all up then you are done. I fitted my Fuel exhaust to my K6 in 5 mins it was THAT easy. It was also the first time I'd done it. If you **** it up with a grinder there's no way back. I'd rather not read any horror stories about the grinder messing up your bike's paintwork. |
