Default Re: Pitted Forks

If pitting is causing your forks to leak then it is the stancions (sp?) that are pitted not the sliders (the sliders are the bits that go up and down - they are the wheel ends of the forks).

If the stancions (sp?) are pitted then you will see it - they should be super smooth and shiny - perfect chrome finish.

Default Pitted Forks

Hi All

It would appear my forks are pitted as fork oil seal keeps leaking. Is it possible to buy just that part (The part that moves up and down, sorry I'm not that technical) If so where from and what is it called?

Thanks All
