.. or 3 or all 4?
![]() On the front brake that is - not your {smut filter enabled} ![]() Saw a pro racer on telly (think it was some Japanese guy in MotoGP)... used his 3 outside fingers (i.e. all but his index, which was still wrapped round the twistgrip) ... most unorthodox, but it obviously works ![]() Last edited by Blue_SV650S; 11-06-07 at 07:38 PM. |

3 if I'm on my bike, 4 if I'm riding one of Liz's
I thought it was Nakano that used the outside 3, it'll be him or Tamada though..

Like Jodie Marsh, I used to think the more the merrier so 4 was the optimum number. However (since sorting my brakes out properly) I usually now use 2 unless I panic!

Its unorth but the three outside fingers can give more brake power as they are further from the brake pivot point, the index finger has more strength to control the throttle movment.

![]() ![]() ![]() I personally use 2 fingers though, generally 'covering' the brake with one unless there are no corners or traffic about then I don't bother ... This I suspect is the most common configuration ... darn ![]() ![]() |

Looks like the two finger gang (those with finesse) are winning so far.
How long until 'If I'm going to grab it properly I might as well use all four' gets a vote? |
