Default Ignition unit trouble

No spark, to check at the connector it shows all wires going where they should. However there are no connections to the neutral switch, no way should that stop the spark from firing though.
None of the safety features are wired in, the ignition hot wire has battery voltage.

Battery shows 12.6 ocV

If you short the coil to earth a very weak spark is produced.
A spare ICU has been tried with no result.

This has got me well stumped, as I can't find a fault anywhere.

Default Re: Ignition unit trouble

This is the same problem I have been having with my -1 (aka Honda CB-1). Its a weak spark to start with then my whole ignition went dead. I recified the fault with a new pick up coil. Its the sensor that detects the crankshaft position relative to the correct timing for sparking. So may be worth having a look at that.
