Sounds like the sprockets have been changed on your bike then (I'd guess, I don't know where a Blade takes the speedo reading from)
I know there are things out there called Speedo Healers, but I'm not sure exactly how they work. |

I assume that you are talking about the Blade. If the speedo drive is from the front wheel, the sprockets should not make and difference however if you have a different diameter wheel (larger) then your speedo may well run low. I can't remember if your bike had a 16" wheel as standard or a 17", even then if I recall the profile of the tyre was different so maybe that should not make that much of a difference that you speek of. If the speedo drive is from the gearbox/engine then the sprockets could make a difference as rigor has already stated. As for recallibration, I dunno. Good luck on finding a fix for it.
Just out of curiosity how did you find out? Hopefully not from the boys in blue. |

it just felt faster than what it was reading, so i asked zombie jesus how fast he was going.
he was doing 80-90 & i was right behind doing 60-70 also just passed one of thesethings at the side of the road, it said i was doing 31, but the clock said 25 it looks like there is a sensor going to the front sprocket, |

If it goes to your front wheel then forget about sprockets and gearing. It's probably like an SV running off 4 magnets passing a sensor. And sounds like one magnet is not working therefore reading 3/4 of truth.
Start learning your 1.33 times tables, or break off another magnet & learn your 2 times tables, or get it fixed, or buy a Veypor to wire in instead http://www.veypor.co.uk/xcart/produc...cat=261&page=1 |
