I got PR2's on my SV1000S and they are currently on 6k miles with little to no wear on them. Gotten knee down and peg scraping on them even on colder days

I've had PR2s on my SV1000 the last 3 times and they've been really good and wear evenly. However when the front finally starts to go (I got 10k from the last one) it goes a weird v shape and is real nasty to ride.

I've just got a PR3 on the back now. Apparently they warm up faster and grip even better in the wet than a PR2. More importantly my fitter had a PR3 in stock and did me a good price. (£150 fitted).

I'm about to take the bike to France for a few days so will report back my view on PR2 v PR3 when I get back.

Ive had both the PR2 and PR3 on my 650. Liked the PR2 but loving the PR3. Gives great dry grip and is faultless in the wet. Is holding true to give a good milage, done over 5k on this set, most of which on the motorway, and its showing little sign of squaring
