Yea, the 'pointy's' / K3 on are FI, affraid i cant be of any help to you on the FI subject either. Haynes manual no love?
My bikes back up and running again, thanks for all the great posts everyone, there was a hell of a lot of water and some muck in the front plug well, took ages to get it all out before being brave enough to remove the spark plug itelf. New plugs all round a thorough clean and lube up and running fine (touch wood!) |

A carbed engine would fit though wouldn't it? Is it possible that someone has retro-fit a carbed engine to this bike? As if Chris has had the tank up to do the rear plug, then he would know if there are carbs it there.
Amanda, do you have a choke lever? How do you start your bike in that there cold? |

Alright Mandy,
I might be wrong (it won't be the first or last time), but I had the same symtoms last year which I reckoned was due to moisture somewhere in the fuelling system. I looked into draining off various components but realised i couldn't be ar5ed so just bunged some Wynn's Dry Fuel into the tank. It sorted it and it never came back. Got to be worth trying for the sake of a fiver Last edited by rusty76; 21-02-10 at 10:01 AM. |
