Having done this myself

there are a couple of things to remember

Stick in 12 quids worth of Diesel and realise as I walk to the kiosk but still have to pay. At least I didn't start the bike
Have to slip the breakdown truck guy £20 to suck it out as mis fueling is considered a self inflicted injury and would have cost me £120 to get the bike home
Sick in anther £12 of fuel (petrol this tiem )

Net cost to me £44 for 3 gallons of fuel

An experience i don't wish to repeat

how about 12l of diesel. Garage owners whose only help is to SELL you 2 10l containers, walk around a forecourt for 20 minutes with a bright yellow petrol tank trying to persuade someone to let you give them free fuel. While 40 "friends" shout encouragement from the carpark. LOL.

Laugh while you can tomorrow of may be your turn.

The bag of spanners apparently ran better after the incident. Yes...perhaps? although they spent all the weekend going zooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom

........still didn't stop it sounding like a spanner being dragged along behind on a chain though

oh dear.......Think i better hide too
