Sorry don't agree with this. If the hours/pay/job don't suit, find one that does. You must have agreed with it or you wouldn't have taken the job in the first place.

This is why I don't understand modern society. If you don't like the terms and conditions of your job, why do it, get a job with the hours you want, that pays what you want, etc.

I am sorry to have to say it, but there are plenty out of work at present that would love to do a posties job.

Agree totally.(Id agree even more if you put some puctuation in)
RM has already shed 60000 jobs and are simply screwing their workforce as far as they can until they bite back.Well its bite back time in my book and good luck to them.
As an aside,I would agree with competition in the postal service, but only if every competitor had to deliver the same level of service. That would mean a universal service to all parts of the country,no cherry picking the best bits.

No No No....

That goes against the entire Labour understanding of privatisation...

You Sell off the profitable bits, & the Tax payer subsidizes the non profitable bits.

No?

and from what they were saying about a few posties that go er AWOL with their post (for various reasons) - the delayed post may never be delivered. That I REALLY dont understand, surely if you have paid for a service, you should expect it to be delivered, even if it is late?

What planet are they on?
Job cuts, go on strike, people go "FFS, royal fail" and use carriers who actually deliver stuff, less income, more job cuts.
