When my bike starts from cold it is quite rough on tickover and is also v lumpy to ride below 10mph (I dont do this v often!)
I have a CCC end can ands am thinking about replacing the airfilter with a K&N or such like. In your opinions do you think the bike would benefit from re-jetting and some dyno time? I know how things like this work using a power commander and maps on FI bikes but I am not sure how they work on carb'd models so can anyone explain? Thanks |

OK, can anyone tell me what the advantages of re-jetting and running the bike on a dyno are? I now that you can smooth out power curves etc but how does it work on a carb'd bike?

Just the same. It's only more work on the carb models thus more expensive.
You will get better fueling, throttle response, power increase.... |

I have just spoken to Crescent Suzuki who are local to me and they have advised having the carbs balanced which they said should take about 2hrs @ £45/hr.Does this sound OK to you guys?

To balance the carbs? They're having a bubble, IMO. Even doing it the first time it took me less time than that, and I had no clue what I was doing.
