I hope he fixes up OK. Depends on how badly he's mashed his pelvis I guess. It's not necessarily all bad news - I broke my pelvis in 2 places in a bike accident in June 2004. I used to run a a lot, the consultant said that my fitness made my recovery that much quicker. I went on to complete another marathon.

absolutely right - we had a guy at work a few years back who used to play for QPR in the 1950s and even back then their contracts forbid them to ride - surprised that Sir Les was allowed to take that risk though!

David Beckham was also asked to do an advert for Aprillia in the past, but his contract at wherever he was at the time stated, that for insurance reasons, he would not be allowed a motorcycle. Something to do with his right foot being worth a fair bit.
