I use the yellow ones that you get in a big bag from bike shops, they're soft, cheap, and throw away so there is none of this cleaning issue. I've done 8hrs+ with them and find them comfier than the industrial type multi coloured ones that I borrow from work when my stash of yellow ones has ran out.

El-cheapo EAR classics for me. 250 pairs from eBay for 12 quid. bargain.

They are supposed to be safety helmets so why not make them safe for your hearing too?? Regulations for this and regulations for that yet nothing for hearing....
You are not allowed to ride with your flip-up flipped up but its ok to permanently damage your hearing!

You or your employer can be fined and/or disciplined in a factory for not wearing ear protection but get on your bike and health & safety don't seem to matter any more! Bluddy hypocrisy!
I have an HJC CL-Max flipper and a Shoei MUltitech flipper with fitted whisper guard etc. Although less than the HJC, there is still appreciable wind noise with the Shoei.

Not cheap, but good quality and I would highly recommend them!
I think they could work out cheaper than buying disposables over a long period too!

They're the ones i've got and they're worth every penny!
