His flippin bike and the last time I cleaned a bike for him, he went to wales and wrote it off. Somehow that became my fault???? He can do it himself!

I think I have the answer (took me long enough to realise), I have two young daughters and their mum is dead set against them ever getting on / near a bike, I think I can easily get them involved and intersted in helping out with the bike (albeit they are very young), eventually she'll tell me to leave the kids alone and let me get on with it.

If wench doesn't appreciate the fact that you're a biker, and allow you to do things on the bike without mithering, whinging or nagging then get a new one
Don't feel sorry for him Yorkie Chris....see his earlier threads, he's a lucky ******* and I've cleaned the bike for him, spent days running around bristol picking up circlips and bolts while he's in work and the only reason he doesn't clean it himself is because he can't be arsed...lol.

I don't care how much time he spends on the bike or how many people he gets over here to help him do stuff, just means more cups of tea/beer/food for me to get on with and that's what I love doing....ask anyone who's been to our house!

Personally I love bikes, before I met Stretchie and love going out with him now, but if you have another half that doesn't like something you do.....they can't ask you not to do it because it doesn't suit them......just tell them to find their own thing.
