Its fun to thrash it around the roundabouts and leave cars for dust, but there are some nice roads around here. A4146 towards Wing is a pretty fun little road, and nice ones up north near the A5 a bit towards Kettering.

Indeed it's not much fun in London as I do it myself, there are better roads outside of MK as you say though (from Northants myself!).
