What are you starting the night on.

Well off out tonight, Chinky banquet for the family, yes bank of dad pays again. Then back and to the club across the road. I will be accompanied there by my darling wife, so no staggering out at 5:30am this time (lightweight woman, she needs somebody to push her up the hill home).

So in order to start the evening properly, I am an a very large Plymouth gin with a dash of tonic, ice, and a slice of lime.

I got the taste for limes in my gin in the far east and now prefer them to lemon.


What you lot starting your evening on?. The lightweight has just poured her second and the taxi doesn't get her for another 1.5 hours. I think it may be one of those evenings. (again)

Coffee, followed by a coffee chaser. I think I may move on to a double diet coke and quite possibly back to the coffee for the rest of the evening.

Not looking forward to the hangover from hell in the morning though.

Starting the night on? You're a bit late. I started this afternoon on a few pints of Old Peculier. Trouble is, now I'm feeling a bit peculier myself and might need a lie down.

Coffee at the moment, then on to strawberry daquiris, pina coladas, cosmopolitans and margaritas. Having a couple of mates over for a cocktail party shortly, really looking forward to it.

Of course, we will all end up face down by 10pm.....

We had lunch at the Waddington Arms, so I started then in two pints of Moorhouses Best Bitter.
Just about to open a bottle of Black Sheep best, then a bottle of Zinfandel from California.

My god, My glasgee knowledge has been expanded. Civilisation has arrived. A deep fried Mars bar and a pint of eavy would never taste the same after a strawberry daiquiri.

Good on you. Breaking the stereotype must really put a smile on your face. (or is that too many margaritas)

Well Pete, the club over the road does Moorhouses when the manager decides to P off the area manager, who wants her to sell Jennings (If she must do real ale) and she likes to P him off..

The problem with Moorhouses, (dingle beer) is the nasty beers they do. Blond Witch and Black Cat being good examples. Pride, witches cauldron, witchfinder general, witchcraft and witches brew are a good pint. Where I get these there are enough witches colouring grey blond.
