Not refering to the times they still surround your head cos when that happens it tends to be un-intentional on those occasions.
![]() No point to the following question, but its based on seeing a few piccy threads and seeing lids laid on their sides an it makes me chringe a little. Personally its always placed, in the same orentation as it would be if still on my noggin, but maybe I'm missing something is this wrong? So - How do you rest your lid on the ground? |

The way it won't roll. Flat bit down, as if I was wearing it buried up to the neck in sand.

I've got a really useful lid holder from Shark. Kind of a solid rubber ring that sits on the floor/table that you put your helmet into. Stops it getting scratched or knocked about when stored or changing visors, etc.
Kind of like this, but it was free. http://streetmoto.net/store/index.ph...iqslhd52rlcd45

If it's dry, helmet flat on the floor tucked as close I can under the bike. If it's wet, it stays in my hand or it's strapped to the bike.

I got a really good tip from when I did my CBT, put your gloves down (knuckles to the floor) first then put your helmet on the gloves.
