I'm collecting my K4 SV on saturday, cant wait!! I'm wanting to fit an aftermarket can asap as my friend had a renegade on his curvy and sounded unreal!!
![]() I'm been looking a quite a few sites such as yosh, blue flame, leo vinco etc and have a question about the fitting of these cans. Most of the systems come with a slip on pipe and say you have to cut the original exhaust, is possible to get a can that simple bolts on in place of the standard can or is the standard can welded on instead of bolted ![]() Thanks for any advice you may be able to offer. |

You have to cut the pipe or get a system.
Ps, use the search facility! |

As you suspected the original exhaust is all one (well except the stub pipe), so the choice is either a complete system or cutting and fitting a slip-on, the cutting is no problem and has been dcovered extensively (do a search for details).
Cheers Mark.
