Default Alarm saga

No not on the bike it was fine on Sunday,my car. During the windy weather the alarm was so sensitive it kept going off and really peed off the neighbours so I contacted the manufacturer and he gave some hints on what the fault might be. Tried all the tricks but no joy so I disconnected the battery, silly idea as it has a built in power supply,re-connected the battery and all hell lets loose
Flashing lights, screaming siren and horn at full blast plus very angry neighbours and in my panic to pull all the fuses I slipped and cracked a rib[Another saga] Apparently it could be made less sensitive by putting a key in the box and resetting to a lower level of sensitivity but no matter what I tried all was in vain so I arranged for an engineer to come today. Guy arrrives from Laserline and I ask for the system to be removed which he does and puts the car back together. All OK now, just start it up to make sure everything works, key in the ignition, turn, all hell breaks loose again,HOW THE "F" he has just removed the complete system
Disconnect the battery and start again,so after about 45 minutes he finds another relay which apparently is the original Porsche Factory fitted system and is part and partial to the wiring loom,
He does a temporary bridge to stop going off finds another hidden siren and horn which are removed-----------------------Silence-----------------------------------------------------------only
the car would not start as this relay incorporates an engine immobiliser ****,after about 1/2 hour he works out a system to get the car started but with no central locking or windows
The engineer is pulling his hair out by now and has to leave for another appointment having arranged to come back Saturday to sort out the remaining problem and fit a new immobiliser plus learn up on the PorscheSystem and wiring

I just had a phone call telling me he has put the Laserline System on a test rig and they can't find any fault on it and he thinks the whole problem has been with the original Porsche System all along

I haven't had the bill yet as he still isn't finished and now he has to re-install the original Laserline System which he has just removed, on Saturday in order to get the windows to work again, give me alarming and somehow over-ride the Porsche set-up

Anybody ever bought a car with two alarm systems?that work in tandem, talk about belt and braces

So---final outcome probably £300 light plus a cracked rib and back where I started
