Default Adjusted my suspension!!

And what a difference a tweek makes, i went down one on the front and up one on the rear and it's stable as a stable thing now. Though riding with tyres almost down to the canvas, anythings an improvement. Went and ordered my Z6's today along with the 7500mile service, 7500miles out the D220 isn't bad i think! Roll on the 19th!!! I was scared to mess with the suspension, wish i had done it sooner, it's as easy as 123...

You've softened the front? Got the rear set on 5 at the mo - much better
You had a go on your dads bike yet? for "comparison"

No i've stiffened the front going down one is the number it's set on thats all, it was set on 4 now it's set on 3. It feels stiffer anyway, perhaps i've got it the wrong way around. I think thats what it states in the book, lower the number the less compresion!

No havent had a go on my dads yet, it'll only make me want to derestrict it, so i'll think i'll pass on that one!!

Feckin' right!! I only managed 4000 out of mine. I then put on Z6's and my rear is already on its way out at 7500 miles

p.s. how much is your 7500 mile service costing you? Cupar Motorcycles hit me for £200!
The only reason I go there is to keep the stamps the same in the log book so it looks good when I come to sell it (which I'm not inclined to do any time soon because I loooooove it)

I'm not sure what they charge for it. Well i know what im paying, because i did 0% finance deal i added servicing to the loan, i pay £500 for 7 services, i think thats bluming good. This is my 3rd service so still got 4 to go.

Blimey that is a good deal.I guess they rely on you not keeping the bike long enough to collect on that (or they don't do the work properly)

Yeh im about to check that, im going to put a scratch on the oil filter, underneath it to see if they bother changing it. It always makes me wonder if they do. They haven't been too bad though, i get on with them well there so i suppose it's just down to trust.

Check your manual for what the service shedule requires.I think Suzuki only stipulate an oil filter change every second service.I always do my own and change it anyway, but your dealer may be correct to leave it on some services.

They changed it on the 600, not the 4000 so i think its this time they change it. i can remember looking in my manual and checking it thats why i've got it in my head!!!
