Plowsie's Rideout/Weekend

Right will reboot this thread up...should still be doing this, need to get some quality time out on the bike to build myself back up to riding. Will be the weekend of the 9-10th August, rideout on the Saturday morning/afternoon, Andy(2mths) has done the route with me and has said is very good, just needs a bit of perfecting in certain areas.

The plan - Meet up somewhere in the morning, take all stuff for camping the night to leave at mine, do the ride, pick up stuff from mine and ride to the campsite (only around 5 mins from mine).

Depending on numbers, we could just move the campsite to my back garden but that is all dependant on numbers really.

The final route - http://tinyurl.com/6gkwz4 with one stop to be decided, either Buckingham (nice little town with shops and that and the market square to gather) or Stoke Bruerne (the village where my missus lives, canal down it with a few pubs to eat at and nice areas to sit and chillout)...

With people fresh from the AR weekend I hope that this will gather some interest

Do you have an idea of the route yet?

I could do the chelvy road ride , and theres the market harbourough road etc

Thanks mate Not a full idea, but i'm trying to get there, linking the roads together that are good is hard around here.

chelveston road-through raunds-link up to stanford bends and then back roads to market harborough and huntington marina...theres a few other roads but i cant think of the names at the mo.

Other side of the M1 Laura, some nice'ish ones that way, that side is good too, like I say any help is welcome.

I'll see what I can do.

Right these are some of the roads I am on about, its a decent ride, and me being me, i know a few decent beer gardens (obviously we wouldnt be using it for beer )
