Default Nurse! Nurse!

A few months ago I walked into a giant flowerpot in the dark and it cut my shin quite badly, just where the skin is thin over the bone. It sort of healed up but I only went and did it again and now it doesn't look too pretty. I put lots of Savlon on and it needed a plaster.

So here's where I need expert help. How do I get the bloody plaster off cos I just had a go and with hairy legs it's absolute agony

Pour cold water on it and taut the skin as you`re taking the plaster off.... if you can use a sponge to soak up loads of water then hold it over the plaster for a good 5 to 10 mins. Take the plaster off really slowly so you don`t tear the skin

Think of it as a practice run for getting your legs waxed. Grit yer teeth and man up!

White spirit will dissolve the adhesive holding the plaster to your manly hairy legs....just don't get it on the wound

If it were me I've probably bathe it in hot water and try and clean it as much as possible removing any bits of dead skin and nasty stuff, stick a fresh dressing on with latherings of Sudacrem and then tootle off to the doctors........actually no thats a lie I'd personally only go to the doctors if it was going black
