Snorkelerectomy. K3

I see the mod for the airbox on svrider.com and wonder if its good for the k3. Anybody done it, any good???

I've removed the snorkel on my K6. Doesn't really do much though, other than give a better noise.

a ryt have seen that one before i dont think it makes alot of differenc tho as it say thers its only an extra 3/4 mph you get doing it so its not like your gona notice a big differece anyway.

you could give it ago hold your filter in with a screw each corner with a big washer on each.

I doubt you get 3mph out of that

i dont think you do either i have tried it on a few different bikes and felt no differenc you do get a different sound when reving but as for speed ways i dont think thers much 2 gain by doing it tho would you notice 3mph???

Yes if you have a tailwind on the day you take it out after doing it

ive never found any differenc after doing it like but maby someone else will.
