I stood up as ordered, but now I'm getting cramp.
What do I do next?

Taped the 100 best ever standup program at the weekend and watched it the other night.

Love all the Bill Hicks(RIP) stuff, always forget to try and see if he has any DVD's. Never saw him live. "Positive drug stories on the news etc."

Love the BigYins stuff although a lot of folk do not like him here. Envy most of it I would guess.

Seen "Magician" Jerry Sadowitz twice live and it hurt the face off me both times. His Gary Glitter stuff they showed on that program had me in tears. Loved his channel5 show too.

Like Frankie Boyle on the tele. Just ok live.

Best stand up I have seen was not a comedian and stood on stage for 3hrs and gassed non-stop. Henry Rollins out of Black Flag. ****ing amazing. Funny-as-****. Saw him live with his band a few times (maniac on stage) so some fella standing their preaching/spoken word did not float my boat. What I have missed! Class act.

Funniest seen live?

1. Bob Monkhouse. Best of the lot, and by a fair margin. Pure genius and really rather "blue" live - far removed from his TV appearences. RIP.

The best of the rest:

2. Mike Harding. Simply awesome live - 2.5 hours of side-splitting stuff. Google for "The 14.5lb Budgie", hopefully some's YouTubed it

3. Bill Bailey. 'nuff said already. Another genius of comedy/music.

4. The Big Yin. Only he can get away with what he does. Unique.

5. Ken Dodd. Long, long live shows. Corny and inoffensive but great if you're in the mood

6. Ross Noble. Inventive and funny. Thinks on his feet.
