For Sale - Tuono R 1000CC 08 Plate 4000 Miles

Here for Sale is my 08 Plate Tuono R In Blue & White.

Purchased end of March 08, it has done just over 4000 miles and has had its first service carried out at the supplying dealer. It doesn’t need another service till 6k miles or May whichever is sooner.

There is a professionally installed Alarm Datatool SC4 Red to keep it safe and sound, it is a good alarm and I haven’t had a single false alert.
I have changed the front sprocket to a 15th tooth to help with the gearing so it is more pleasurable at low speeds, the exhaust are standard but modified to be very loud, (straight through) I have inserted baffles which could be removed if you so wish. I have the original exhausts also which have done 600 miles and are (If I remember correctly) immaculate, these will go with the bike. (Please note the loud exhaust are home made so not road legal and do have some very light marks)

The bike is currently running Map 2 which does not make it more powerful, but does make it run better than standard. (How it was designed to be) changed by the dealer to match the exhaust at first service.
It has 6 months tax until August and does not require an MOT for another 2 and a bit years.

The tyres are Avon Storms and were fitted less than 1k miles ago.
The bike has had both recalls require by Aprilia including new front brake hoses, and a new set of Clocks fitted at 2700 miles. This is documented and stamped in the service book to verify the mileage. All books, spare keys and other bumf comes with the bike as you would expect.

This bike won most naked tests in “Bike” in the last few years and is being discontinued shortly when Aprilia run out of Rotax motors. I have had no parts issues with this bike, despite fears of long lead times, most usual parts are 2 -3 days if not stocked with the dealer.

The bike has been run with a scotoiler so the Chain & Sprockets are hardly worn, the scotoiler might go with the bike but would have to be negotiated.
The rest of the bike is in very good condition, and I cannot think of any marks on her. Inspections very welcome but no Tyre kickers or ill kick you back. (Seems fair?)

There is finance outstanding of which I know the balance and the purchaser would need to pay Black Horse the balance direct and then any remaining monies to me.

Needs must and if she sells she sells, if not I will keep her and treasure her forever. The bike is currently in storage and therefore the mileage is unlikely to go up between now and any potential sale. Garaged All its life.

I have had a look at this bike in the flesh and it is an immaculate example. Crying out for a can of matt black.

thank you Dizzy, she is my baby

If she doesnt sell I will keep it, Im not going to hard sell, it would just mnake things a little easier over the next few months as we are buying a new house thats £30k iver initial budget and getting married in November. I wont be sad if she doesnt sell... but I will be sad to see her go if she does.
