You can see how this is leading to a very big can of worms.

I think the section name, a section 'logo' (whatever that may be,) "sv650.org" and the screen name of the individual is more then enough for the tee before it either becomes too cluttered and/or too complicated
You can already get that kind of t-shirt

http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=112667

I dont think something generic or basic was RichT's intention... Its also covered already and I dont really want a basic / generic T-shirt I would like something that reflects the section that represents the area I live in.

Messie is selling AR09 T-shirts

http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=133499

So I would suggest we stay away from anything with AR designs etc etc on them so we dont tread on her toes

I don't want to stir up a hornets nest but I'm puzzled as to why you want your own section's T shirt for the AR?
I've hunted but can't find the comment made when it was all kicking off about the AR09 planning etc, that it was all a Soho Massive clique and that they spent last year keeping themsleves to themselves and they even separated thenselves out with different name tags.

Why do you want to separate yourselves out like this. A T shirt for AR09 has been sorted - why don't you get one of those with your names on?

Precisely my thoughts Fizz - Something that's specific to our region.

Pauls designs are nice, but are generic so they appeal the masses and the AR ones Messie is putting together are specific for that event.

As I see it - if we can agree a design - I'm sure we can find someone willing to print them.

Its a section t-shirt, that could be worn at the AR or worn at any other camping weekend / meet / rideout..

Theres noting to stop people buying an AR09 T-shirt and a SWS Surfers section T-shirt... might be a good idea saves wearing the same T-shirt on Friday night and Saturday at the AR and making it stinky...

Valid quesions Messie. I think Fizz has hit the nail on the head. Below is my take on it...

It's nothing to do with seperating ourselves and they're not specifically for the AR. The intention is more to indicate who we are and where we're from, i.e. promote the region and forum.

At the recent camping trip there were discussions about how the section seems to have quietened down a bit recently. T-shirts were discussed (only briefly) but the consensus was that it'd be a good idea. Other regions have their's and people's impressions were that they looked good and why not.

Personally I intend to buy an AR T, but I'm waiting to see the design before commiting.

No picture (simply words - which may be the default if no decision can be agreed)

i like the idea of the first 3

would i be right in guessing the 4 regions need covering are............ if so, what would we want for each ?

wales, (sheep)
bristol, ?????
cornwell/devon (cider?)
then portsmoth/southhampton (pirate?)

I'm leaning that way as well... Although a skull and crossbones went through my mind.
