it's not bad, does a fairly good job but the downpipes are a very mild steel so they pit really easily so you do have to spend some time clearing up the imperfections.
I've used it on mine so I'll post some pictures tonight so you can see how they come up.

I had ago on my down pipes today with Belgom alu and lots of elbow grease! (very cheap !) looks pretty good! will give it a go with my old polishing kit (bought 20 years ago!) and see what happens!

Really? they look like low grade stainless steel to me although I'm no expert!

Just has it confirmed they are a mild form of stainless steel )

Hi Liam, great job your doing, end result makes it so worth while. Just thought you'd like to know my dearly departed brother spent the last 7 years building and polishing his Z1 special. He did all the hard work with Autosol, but once you've got the shine there use Belgom Alu. It's not abrasive like Autosol and it also contains wax. So a weekly polish shines and protects in one hit.

His bike looks awsome! Is that a spondon,Harris or motomartin type frame?

Its a special one off frame but it is based on the Spondon/Martek style.
