Hi Dave, your route looks fine, I will join you at your turn 20, not too far from where I live. May I suggest an alternative against going through Nuneaton and Hinckley as it is mainly built up and go across country via our village/A5/A444 many fewer multi coloured vehicles???
The only warning at the moment is the snow we had early this evening has turned to sheet ice. Forcast says bright spells tomorrow sun on Sunday temps 3 deg local.

OK, if you know a better route then you can guide us round, i really dont know my way around that area

As for the weather, I think were just going to have to decide on the morning weather or it will be possible. I certainly dont intend to go out if there is sheet ice about!

We nipped over to Market Harborough today to check on the Duke. Even at mid-afternoon puddles at the side of the road were still frozen, and the forecast for tomorrow is just as cold.

Take it carefully, guys, if you do go out!

Hi ALL, I went down today outside the house and played "bum curling", still exceedingly icy where the snow fell yesterday.
Have just come in from an evening out, our local roads Nuneaton are black ice and they have been gritting since late afternoon. Currently -6 outside.
Tomorrows local forcast is light rain and snow showers -3 degree's.
Anywhere there is standing water it has frozen, not looking too safe for riding.
With an aching behind and injured pride it is doubtfull I will be out tomorrow.
Sorry to let you down BUT safety first.

I think given what you've just experienced it is probably not the best idea to do this ride tomorrow, I don't think I will be going out in that case.

I hope your OK john, look after yourself.

We had a light dusting of snow overnight so its fair to say the bike is staying indoors.

What happened to the unbroken sunshine we were supposed to be getting?
The sun would have warmed things up a bit like yesterday (by me anyway).
Hope your ok John.
Wont be long before we can all get out, we'll have to be patient

Phil
