Could be pistons that are a little, rough. Dont think anyone but brembo use teflon coating?

All I can say is WOW. And that I certainly do need my forks revalving. ha ha.

Some later suzukis have coating on pistons.
I think they did poor job of rebuild and you should add some rubber grease.

Brakes work well now gr33k?

They worked well with the stock master, the new master has simply taken the effort away meaning that its just silly. I accidentally made it endo a little at 40mph slowing to 30. Ill have to be careful!

The forks bottom out a little when braking hard. Will that be the compression needing sorting you think?

No, compression can only slow movement... give you grip on transient i.e when you apply brake. steady state braking is like brute force not damping, total force of compression. if you are getting into oil locks then you need more oil (reduce air chamber) or stiffer springs.

Your stock valving, still got oil lock working?

Hmph. I have got lighter springs in there all ready. 0.88kgmm, which is what is recommended for my weight.

There is a good chance that they need the oil changing and the right amount putting in. Ill have to talk to that shop in york about it all. They seem to have some exp with these showa forks on Ducati's and Aprilia's.

What air gap? Whose recommendation?

0.88 probably somewhere near depending on how heavy bike is. I know you are about 6 stone with rocks in your pockets.

ha ha, yea. Bike I think is about 205-210kg fully wet, im 65kg.

Im not sure what is going on in the forks at the moment. When I got the fork springs changed I asked the shop to just sort it all...

Id guess the recommended oil level would be right? Guess thats what ill have to ask the shop about.

What is right? Right is where you are using all travel without bottoming regularly. Stock might be, might not.

Aye fair point. ha ha. Before doing this with brakes ive not been bottoming out, or at best rarely. Like you mentioned to paul I think, cant do brakes without forks. Ill just have to go steady till I can sort the forks in a couple of months. Exhaust and PC3 fitting and setting up next month.

I would get forks sorted before engine tuning.
