2.45 lap give or take for me so around nine laps.

On the new arena circuit i was struggling to break the three minute mark, then had some laps with an instructor and within a session or two got down to the mid 2.40's. I'd definitely recommend an instructor Taz.

Binky - how did the instruction work? Do you just follow someone, or did they follow you and tell you what to do/what not to do afterwards?!?

I've never given it much thought, normally just go out and do my own thing.

Rossi hasn't got **** on me

OK in hindsight me in novice group going past a potential semi pro's son testing out his bike on the track probably isn't a a factual argument!
But I found them okay

You get pretty much a full session. They will lead the way and show you the lines, then wave you past and look at anything you are particularly worried about.

Body position, braking, lines etc... After the session you'll get a little debrief with some casual advice that will normally help your riding no end. It's a good punt with nothing to lose.
