I hope whoever did ate them at least.

I almost headed one on route to the test centre for my mod 2 doing 60!
It seems there are quite a few round our way.

Always fancied grabbing one for the pot but I think I'll wait until I hit one rather than scooping up someone elses road kill
It's illegal to pick game up you've hit, you have to wait for someone else to hit one

This

Sorry to hear about "your" birds Ed. We've had pretty tame pheasants in the garden before now but when they disapeared it was more than likely one of the neighbourhood cats.

Because all small animals are rigged up with spy cameras, GPS tracking devices, and vital life signs sensors. As soon as one dies, alarms sound and red lights flash, a specialist roadkill squad log on to their systems to track down which animal, when, how and who. They WILL find you and you WILL be bought to justice. Step away from the roadkill!

Erm Ed, the reason for a pheasants existance is to be shot. If they don't get shot, they aren't there in the first place!

Cityboy! ))))

They will be sold to the local pubs and posh restaurants, get yourself down there and give it a go... You may like it.

I only shoot to eat what I kill..

Gone soft?

You mean certain accuracy, easy loading with minimal movement and reliable power?

Which one did you get? I have a Falcon PCP and a hand pump. Couldn't afford a cylinder!

Yeah I mean as much as my gas ram stutzen was great getting kicked to death every shot and needing the shoulders of a bear to **** it was great fun....

Went for a BSA ultra multi. It's alright. I should have bought a logun axsor.
But, it's 10 shot, reliable, quiet as a mouses fart with a big volume moderator on it, nice trigger now it's had a bit of lapping. Just wish the stock had been designed by someone who was sober, or at least partially sighted. Why oh why make a rifle with no iron sights nor mounts to fit one, and fit a stock with a comb that's at the perfect level for them and thus stupidly low for any scope known to man!?!

Still got a Gamo CF30 underlever .22 which is going to get a gas ram, comp trigger and barrel weight/moderator when I can be *rsed just to show the field target boys what a £120 gun can do

Were you not bothered by the low number of shots on the BSA?

Great re-loading mechanism though!

Yes it's a pain in the *rse when plinking, 30 consistent ones is about your lot. Not a problem when hunting though, I reckon the weight and the fact that if you take the moderator off it fits in a normal-ish bag makes up for it.
