Ahh the thou's have taller radiators than the 650 and they all seem to be the same size as you say. The 650 K3 radiator is a lot wider. Sorry to waste your time

Assuming Aberfoyle in second to last pic and Tyndrum in the last? I generally do the Dukes Pass in second the whole way.

Oh and CBR's are awesome you shoulda kept it
You are correct,
we know the owner of real food stop very well so always stop there instead of green welly!

Nah cbr was too easy to ride fast, and you needed to use brakes as there was no engine breaking which is one of my main things, i don't like using brakes.
CBR did do 140 far to easy as well!
SV being naked keeps me under the ton!

Plasti-dip ordered!!

I'd agree the anniversary issue is beautiful,
but they are sitting around £2.5k

I got this lovely beast for £1.8k

My cbr i bought in march for £1.8k and sold in July for £2150!

i like it the way it is apart from the mirrors, silly lights and the cross brace on the bars. i dont think it needs chavving up. maybe keeping the lights i would add a screen.

I'd take off the rad covers too. Back to a standard sigle lamp and you're getting there. BIt of satin black on the radiator sides if they are tatty. Mind you I may be a bit baised as I've got a pretty standard looking silver K3N and love it just the way it is!

I don't like the single lights, so i'm sticking with the twin lights on the twin.

I don't like the mirrors, but can't seem to find any decent replacement and most seem to use bar end mirrors which i don't like as i love filtering.

I don't want a screen because if i wanted plastics, i would have bought an S.

Might paint the radiator and oil cooler covers black but i like the protection after the state my k5's got in.

I like chavving it up as it makes it unique and not "just another bike" but i'm looking at maybe getting a 2nd hand pc3 and getting the map sorted for the exhausts and de-snorkel.
Iridium plugs have been dispatched and hopefully it'll stop the stutter at 7k revs.

I quite like the look of these. Unforunately they are crap quality but I like the style. Should match the frame shape quite well.

I may get a pair just to see what they look like.
